Live Chat, Vol. 5: ALF (Sega Master System)

Welcome to another edition of the Gaming Bus Live Chat. Last week, we took it to the red light district with Brave Soul, a hentai game from Peach Princess that makes people play through a slow, clumsy action game to see quick sex scenes. This week is going to be a bit different, as we’re going in a different direction: a licensed property off of an 80s sitcom. This week’s game is going to be the Sega Master System version of “ALF”, which was recommended by our friend and former colleague Mark B. of Diehard GameFAN. For those wondering how good of a game ALF is, bear in mind that one of Mark’s claims to fame is a series called Playing the Lame, where he writes about the worst video games in history. I doubt Mark’s intentions…

It is also notable that this is a holiday weekend. Independence Day is Monday, and Canada Day is today. This means that I should be home in time for this event pretty well liquored up, as I’m going to be out for dinner. Due to this, we’ll be starting a half hour later than usual, at 10:00PM EST instead of 9:30.

Just think: Chris will be playing an undoubtedly shitty game that he’s never played before, and he will very likely be drunk. Just sit on that for a second. As usual, chat will be safe for work, unless you’re at a job where language is filtered.

See you at 10!
