Gaming Bus Live Chat, Vol. 6: The Oregon Trail

Welcome to another edition of the Gaming Bus Live Chat. Last week, I learned a valuable lesson: never, ever take another game suggestion from Diehard GameFAN’s Mark B., as he recommended a turd by the name of ALF for the Sega Master System. The good news is that I beat it. The bad news is that I’ll never get the two and a half hours of my life back that I used to beat it. It’s probably the worst adventure game in history; picture something like Monkey Island, with limited continues and terrible action sequences. I swear Mark picked it because he wants me to suffer like he did. Add to that the fact that I was quite inebriated due to the fact that both Canada Day and Independence Day fell on a long weekend, and you can guess how I suffered.

This week, we’re changing it up because we’re playing a game that doesn’t suck: The Oregon Trail. The Gaming Bus crew will be trying to make it to Oregon (as in, I’ll be putting their names in; sorry, Fire Emblem fans), and hoping not to die of chorea or dysentery along the way.

As usual, we start at 9:30 PM EST!
