Blog: The Next Month's Live Streams!

Last month, we decided to let the staff pick the games we would be using for our Live Stream series. The results were… mixed. Some games were very underrated coming in, and ended up being awesome (Metal Storm). Some were amazing from a historical perspective (Fire Emblem: Fuuin no Tsurugi). Others came in with high expectations, but ultimately disappointed (Final Fantasy Mystic Quest, even Popful Mail). But it feels good to be back in charge of the chat, because I’ve got some DANDIES picked out this month, including the first ever Gaming Bus Game Night!

Oct. 7: Super Metroid, SNES
Oct. 14: Streets of Rage II, Genesis
Oct. 21: Advance Wars, Game Boy Advance
Oct. 28: GAME NIGHT! Left 4 Dead 2, PC.

Game Night is what you think it is. I, and other Gaming Bus members, will play Left 4 Dead 2 together. I did a test run on Saturday, and the stream worked OK, though my zombie killing skills are debatable, unless “rush in with a fire axe while swinging blindly” is a skill. Needless to say, some of my friends were not impressed.

I also have a list of games I will do for my next RPG chat. These are mainly meant for my friends, so they’ll be voting on that in my personal Livejournal, where most of them hang out. Needless to say, the list has caused some… consternation.

(10:48:34 PM) Crystal: I SAID (game)
(10:49:57 PM) Bus: But I want (game)!
(10:50:01 PM) Bus: But we’ll let hte vote decide.
(10:50:03 PM) Crystal: BUT I WANT (game)
(10:50:07 PM) Bus: BUT I WANT (game)!
(10:50:10 PM) Crystal: BITCH
(10:50:12 PM) Crystal: I WILL CUT YOU
