Welcome to another edition of the Gaming Bus Live Stream. Last week, we had what I like to call Fruitcake Night, where I played what I wanted. I played some really messed up stuff (Killer 7), an interesting throwback (God Hand), a game that I took out because a certain writer of mine based out in Koala Land didn’t have good Internet (Ace Combat 5), and settled on the perfect game for my audience (Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance).
Tonight, we play a game I recently purchased, Rayman Origins. Everything I’ve heard about this game says it’s sublime, which is why I had to grab it when I saw it at GameStop for $20. That’s a blessing and a curse: a blessing because I got a great game on a console for $20—actually less expensive than the PC version, shockingly—and a curse because it means we’ll never see another game like it again, at least from a big publisher. That’s too bad because I’ve heard nothing but great things about Rayman Origins and I can’t wait to dig into it.
This will also be my first serious stream of the PlayStation 3, not counting the test I did with NBA 2K12 that turned our Asian community* against me.
We start at 9:30PM EST. See everyone then!
*That’s basically just Aileen because she’s totally got a thing for Jeremy Lin.
