Livestream Schedule for August

Here is the schedule for our livestreams:

Friday, August 3rd – RPG NIGHT: Mass Effect (Xbox 360)
Friday, August 10th: Samurai Warriors 3 (Wii)
Friday, August 17th: Sin & Punishment: Star Successor (Wii)
Friday, August 24th: Princess Maker 2 (DOS)
Friday, August 31st: Fruitcake Night!

Today’s game is going to replace RPG Night. I’m on a bit of a staycation from work, which I’ve desperately needed, and Saturday I plan on doing… something. I don’t know if it’s going to be going out to a bar, a pool hall, a sex club, I really don’t give a shit so long as I’m anywhere else but the house, even if all I do is hang out at the bookstore. Since we skipped Mass Effect last week, we’ll just have it replace the normal chat this week.

Notes about the rest of the games:

* Samurai Warriors 3 is Neon’s/Shirogane’s request. It’s a good one for streams since it’s a no-bullshit type of game, and this one’s good because I just bought it recently. I’ll admit, however, that I’m not a huge fan of Samurai Warriors as a whole, so if push comes to shove, I’ll drop it in favour of Warriors Orochi, which kicks a hundred types of ass.

* Sin & Punishment is Aileen’s request, or would have been had she not just said, “BARKLEY SHUT UP & JAM GAIDEN” fifty times. She got me this, and because I barely touch the Wii, I haven’t played it yet, so this will be a good time to break out what looks to be a good game. However, I had problems in the brief time I experienced with it at the Wii Store in Manhattan.

* Princess Maker 2 is not only Helen (Lorekky)’s request, it’s also a repeat. However, the good news is that when we did this game, it was before we broke out the Livestream technology. Back then, we were still working on the archaic Live Chats, which involved me stopping the game to take screenshots, chat via text, and spend that time not playing the game. Being able to watch it will be far superior.

I look forward to having everyone around on Friday Nights at 9:30PM EST and on Saturdays when we have those chats! Twitter is the best place for updates.
