Gaming Bus Live Stream, Vol. 49: Princess Maker 2 (Redux)

Welcome to another edition of the Gaming Bus Live Stream. Last week, we played the first half of the Wii Treasure shooter Sin and Punishment, which is basically what would happen if Panzer Dragoon and Rez had a child who had a distant relationship to God Hand. It was absolutely absurd and brought back the era of #deathbus, but the last boss I fought—an annoying chick with a samurai sword who kept calling me a loser—was so cheap that even my notoriously cranky readers were sympathetic.

This week, we play a game we’ve played in the past: Princess Maker 2, the officially unreleased English-language DOS game. We played it a long time ago, but this was before the live stream era; instead, I played it on my desktop and ran it in a Cover It Live chat. Let’s just say this was horrifically inefficient. Now everyone can watch me play, which should make things go faster. There’s another caveat to this week’s chat: I will be raising my little girl, from age ten to age eighteen, while drinking copious amounts of plum wine and Sam Adams’ Oktoberfest brew. The #deathbus era is gone; in its place, #drunkbus! Hide your women, or more specifically, hide their hopes and dreams, because if the last drunk chat proved anything, it’s that things get interesting when I start drinking.

Tonight’s chat is at 9:30PM, and even better, I’ve been up since 6:00AM. I’ll not only be drunk, I’ll be fatigued. This is going to be interesting.
